Nerdin St. Rose was born in Saint Lucia, she has over 25 years of unparalleled experience in the areas of marketing, hospitality, tourism and event management. She is the CEO of Bornewell Holdings Inc., a Saint Lucia based Marketing, Public Relations and Event Management firm and former owner of a similar firm Bornewell Marketing Ltd in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Over the years, these companies have leveraged her experience and offered clients strategic advice and creative solutions.

Nerdin has experience in large organizations and small businesses across many fields, as well as sound knowledge of working with government departments across the Caribbean. She has collaborated with executives, working on campaigns for highly capitalized luxury brands and emerging budget-conscious brands. She was the Project Manager for several music festivals produced around the world including Africa, the Caribbean and India; namely the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, Anguilla Tranquility Jazz Festival, Bermuda Music Festival, Cayman Jazz Fest, Durban South Africa Jazz & Heritage Festival, Ghana Jazz & Heritage Festival, India Jazz & Heritage Festival, Saint Lucia Jazz and the Turks & Caicos Music Festival.

Nerdin also handled the media planning and implementation for all the festivals and coordinated all aspects of the events. In Bornewell Marketing, Nerdin helped clients in the Turks & Caicos Islands to increase revenues, managed and conceptualized several high profile international projects and events, undertook rebranding exercises for private clients and provided effective PR and communication services in several sectors.

At the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, as Vice President of Marketing & Sales, she developed, successfully implemented and managed the Board’s annual global tourism marketing Plan. Similarly, as Worldwide Marketing Consultant with the BVI Tourist Board, Nerdin conceptualized and implemented innovative marketing programs resulting in historic performance in visitor arrivals during her tenure.

At Bornewell Holdings Inc, Nerdin conceptualized and co-produces the annual White Nights in Saint Lucia event which has received overwhelming positive reviews and recently launched caribbeanevents.com, an online portal dedicated to featuring the major festivals and events taking place around the region.

Nerdin is an authority on doing business in the Caribbean, having worked with and lived in several islands including the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia and the Turks & Caicos Islands.


Nerdin holds an MSc in Marketing Management from the University of Maryland University College, a BSc in Hospitality Management with a Minor in Marketing Management from Florida International University, a Master’s Certificate in Revenue Management from Cornell University and a Certificate in Festival Management from the University of Minnesota.
